FPV Model Released Its New ZMR180 Mini Quad




The ZMR180 is a micro quad designed with "fun" in mind. Agile, quick, and small all fit together with this kit and its a blast to fly. Keeping simplicty in mind this frame has high quality 3mm bottom plate and a 1.5 mm top plate. Using the same carbon fiber that you find in FPVMODELs ZMR250 V2, you can rest assured that this is NOT the run of the mill cheap eBay Carbon Fiber that most others sell. This CF is backed with FPVMODELs name so you can trust that it is top of the line.

The ZMR180 is an awesome time to be had and you will find the smaller size can zoom through gaps that were previously not even considered with a 250 sized quad.

The ZMR weighs in at 72g including the given mounting hardware and spacers allowing for an ultra-light weight build yet leaving plenty of build room for adding all necessary FPV gear. If you wanna add more muscle, pick the ZMR180 with the larger mounts for 22xx motors.

Feiyu FY-WG 3-Axis Wearable Gimbal for GoPro and Similar Action Camera

The Feiyu FY-WG 3-Axis Wearable Gimbal is a miniaturized version of Feiyus handheld gimbals, offering motorized 3-axis stabilization in a compact, wearable form factor for GoPro HERO4, HERO3+, HERO3, and similarly sized action cameras. Designed with flexibility in mind, the FY-WG features 1/4"-20 threaded holes for horizontal, vertical, or inverted mounting onto a variety of support devices. It is can also be used with any accessory the uses the standard GoPro three-prong mount thanks to an included adapter, letting you capture all of the immersive action camera shots that youre accustomed to, but with full motorized 3-axis stabilization. For streamline operation, a single button turns the gimbal on and lets you switch between operating modes. You can also plug-in an optional remote control for adjusting pan, tilt, and roll angles and other calibration settings.
Camera Compatibility
Compatible with GoPro HERO4, HERO3+, HERO3, AEE action cameras, and other models with similar dimensions. There is also enough room to accommodate an attached GoPro LCD BacPac.
Flexible Mounting Options
Two 1/4"-20 threaded holes lets you mount the camera horizontally, vertically, or inverted. It can also be used with any accessory that has a standard GoPro three-prong mount using an included adapter.
Operating Modes
Pan Following Mode: Locks tilt and roll axes. Camera smoothly pans to follow the direction of the handle.
Tilt and Pan Following Mode: Locks roll axis. Camera smoothly follows the pan and tilt motion of the handle. All Axis Lock: Locks the pan, tilt, and roll axes of the camera in the position it is in when mode is activated.
Inverted Mode: Allows you to turn the gimbal upside-down. This mode is an inverted version of the Pan Following Mode.
Standby Mode: The gimbal remains on but the motor is shut down.
Camera Orientation Detection System
No matter how your camera is mounted (left-aligned or right-aligned, upright or inverted), the FY-WG will identify the mounting position and automatically make the appropriate adjustments to its configuration.
Single-Button Operation
A single button is used to turn the gimbal on/off and switch between operating modes.
Compatible with Optional Remote Control
An optional remote control is available that enables pan, tilt, and roll angle adjustment, as well as other calibration settings. For manual tilt adjustment, simply hold the camera in the desired position for about half a second to register the setting.

ZMR250 V2 w/ New PDB Released

FPV Model is glad to annouce that the PDB of ZMR250 V2 now has been upgraded from V1.0 to V1.2.

We have taken the advise of many and reworked the PDB. It now features ESC pads on the top and bottom of the board. Traces and main power distribution have been routed in a manner to avoid running under the arms. Optional 12V regulator w/ built in LC filter is now available.

Besides, the issue of misaligned MinimOSD solder pins that may exist in the previous version now solved. Also, the arms for fitting 2204/2206 motors are selectable.

Except the ZMR250 V2 frame kits, FPV Model now also offer series of ZMR250 V2 ARF packages at a discounted price, including two ARF Pro packages that come with T-motor brushless motors.

ZMR250 V2 Build Manual

Congratulations on the purchase of the ZMR250 V2 Mini FPV Quadcopter! This mini quadcopter is a ton of fun and building can be a really enjoyable experience too. We hope this manual will assist you with your build.
Recommended Parts for the Build:

DYS SN20A Mini ESC x 4
Dragonfly 5030 CW/CCW props x 2 pairs 
Naze32 Acro Funfly flight controller x1
SONY Effio-e 4140+811 1/3 CCD 3.6mm Lens 700TVL camera x 1 
AOMWAY 5.8g mini 200mw 32CH transmitter x 1

If you are not sure about what spare parts are required, just simply refer to the ones that included in theZMR250 V2 ARF Package.
Now lets start the building.
1. Solder the Transmitter and Camera
Cut the wires of camera to suitable length and solder them to PDB.
Red wire: Power
Black Wire: GND
Yellow: Signal
Solder the power supply wire and video wire (yellow) of transmitter to PDB.


2. Install OSD

The OSD firmware must be flashed and compatible to the Flight Controller before installation. If you don’t need to install the OSD, please just skip this step.
Solder the pin headers onto PDB.
Install the OSD on PDB. Insert it onto the pin heads and soldered. After secured, cut off the unnecessary length of pins.

3. Install the Buzzer

Pay attention to the positive pole “+” on the buzzer.  It needs to be soldered to the buzzer location on PDB.

Cut off the unnecessary pins.



4. Install ESCs
 
Solder the ESCs onto PDB.


The black wires can be parallel connected to the negative pole “-”.
 
 
5. Install Brushless Motors


The motor’s rotation direction can be changed by changing any two wires.


6. Extension


If the OSD and buzzer are installed, then you’ll need to use the supplied wires to solder onto PDB. Please take notice of wire length.


7. Install Flight Controller


Notice on the flight controller: It doesn’t require for soldering if the ESCs have no BEC. The flight controller can be powered by soldering to “5V” (circled in red).
 
 
 
8. Install ZMR250 V2 Frame
 
Important Reminder: In order to protect the PDB from short circuit, please use the supplied insulation washers when fastening arms to the PDB. 


Way to go! You’ve almost completed the ZMR250 V2 build. Power on, and you are now ready to fly!

Skyzone 5.8Ghz 600mw FPV System (T600+R600)

Skyzone newly released a powerful 5.8ghz 600mw FPV system that come with 600mw video transmitter T600 and receiver R600 that specially made for FPV and speed racing.
The feature of this system is the “R” band in the T600 (32 Ch) Video Transmitter, which is 37mhz apart from the next channel, all 8 sub-channels in “R” band will not interfere with each other, this is great news for FPV racers, as there are many people flying in the same place, their FPV system always jam with each other, with this T600 Video transmitter using “R” band, everyone will be happy.
